Our Park by Taniara and Ana

Me and Ana made a park. We used cubes to make our park. Ana made a swing and both of us made a tree. We made beds and a bench for Miss Lines! She can watch us when we play on the park.

Ormie the Pig

This week we have been writing about Ormie the Pig.

We watched the video and wrote a recount. 

It was really funny and we loved watching Ormie!

We put the pictures in order and then we made a word bank to help us with our writing...

Swimming with the Marvellous Meerkats!

WE LOVE SWIMMING!!!
We have been learning how to jump in to the pool safely.

First we look to see if it is safe and there is no one in front of you.
Next you wait for the teacher to call your name.
Then you jump carefully.
Finally you move out of the way so the next person can jump.

Remember: Never jump in to the water if it is shallow or there are people in front of you.

Our favourite pets

We have been finding out about what our favourite pets are. 
First we made a Tally Chart to show everyone what pets we like best.
Next we chose our animals.Taniara chose to put a newt on our chart. Jur'ral chose to put a guinea pig on our chart.
Then we voted for our favourite pet. We can only have one vote each.
After we made a bar graph to show the whole school about the pets we like. 
Finally we put it on the blog to show you! 

Superheroes get Duffy Books!

Yesterday we had an amazing surprise! 
We went to a Duffy assembly and got given some lovely new books... Thank you Duffy!

Certificate Winner - Week 7

Jur'ral got the Superstar Hero certificate in assembly this week! He has been trying really hard in writing and has made a lot of progress. He got 2 pieces of work on the Quality Table in one day! Wow! Keep up the great work Jur'ral!

Maths in Week 6

This week we found out about our favourite places at Rowandale.
First we asked our class where they liked to play and learn.
Then we made a tally chart to show the results.

Certificate Winner - Week 6

This week Kendra won a certificate in assembly! She always does amazing handwriting and makes sure her letters are the right size! You are an expert writer! Well done Kendra!

This week Khyba got our certificate in assembly!
He has been amazing this week - even though he has had his arm in a cast after a scooter accident, he never gave up and gave everything a go! 
An amazing positive attitude - Well done Khyba! We are so proud of you. 

Superheroes are GO!

Amazing Superhero for our classroom!

The Heroes worked really hard to make this amazing superhero. Now everyone who visits our class will know our name.

I hope this will bring out the 'Superhero' in all of us! 

This week's Maths - Graphs!

This term we are learning about Statistics in Maths. 
The Superstar Heroes are becoming experts at gathering data, recording using a tally chart and then putting their results onto a graph! They are also getting really good at answering questions about it.

Caught Being Awesome - Duffy winners!

Every day the Superstar Heroes work hard at being awesome. If we are 'Caught Being Awesome' our name goes into a draw in Friday assembly - the prize is an amazing new book!
