 Amy Jaide, Kendra and Mata won a Duffy book because they were 'Caught Being Awesome'! 

 Ivory and Jaydene got the Mindful Awards this week - well done boys! 

Ana and Taniara have not missed ONE day of school so far this year!

Letters to a soldier

We have been writing letters to the soldiers to ask questions about the war. We talked about the different words we use for questions, and what they mean.

Taniara: How do you train to be a soldier? 
Salesi: How do you shoot guns? 
Dakotah: Where do you sleep? 
Micah: How do you fight in the army? 
Ivory: How do you survive in the army? 
Kendra: Where do you get your uniform? 
Cross: Why do you want to win the fight?
Ghetto: Who won the war?
Eugen: Where did the army go? 
Mata: How do you do training? 

ANZAC day preparations...

This week we have been learning all about ANZAC Day and why it is an important day for New Zealand.
We have read stories and watched YouTube clips to learn more about this important day.
On Friday we will have a ceremony to pay our respects to the Armed Forces who gave up their lives for our freedom.
We have made a wreath to present during our ceremony.
Everyone is invited to join us at 9am on Friday! We look forward to seeing you there!
