ANZAC day preparations...

This week we have been learning all about ANZAC Day and why it is an important day for New Zealand.
We have read stories and watched YouTube clips to learn more about this important day.
On Friday we will have a ceremony to pay our respects to the Armed Forces who gave up their lives for our freedom.
We have made a wreath to present during our ceremony.
Everyone is invited to join us at 9am on Friday! We look forward to seeing you there!

Eric, Kendra and Lupe doing Maths

Today we practised reading numbers up to 20 and drawing the right number of petals on our flowers.
We counted carefully to make sure we had the right number.

Literacy in Room 9

Today we used cubes to help us read and spell words.
We have had lots of fun practising...
Look at all the words we made together!
